I remember as a youth trying to apply for entry-level jobs that required “x-amount of experience”. (Nothing much has changed by the way…).
There are lots of great hires to be found who don’t have the requisite “experience”.
I’ve found quite a few for my own hires and you feel real good about being able to find such people.
