World’s Dumbest Time Management Technique: Inbox Zero

Time management is difficult for most of us in today’s society. The most effective strategy is doing the most important tasks before anything else. Steven Covey and Tony Robbins both teach this strategy. Both strategists feel that even if you miss completing the more unimportant tasks, you have still managed your time well. The strategists who suggest doing everything on your list advocate an “inbox zero” mentality which is much less practical. It is not important to read worthless e-mail all for the sake of having an empty inbox, because as we all know that lasts only a few minutes at most.
