Are You an Authentic Leader?

You know, there’s ALWAYS one you’ll encounter.

I know I’ve received many comments from clients who don’t know how to handle a bad boss.

How do you avoid becoming a bad boss or manager?

Good leaders inspire, but how do you do that? One strategy is to truly be an authentic leader, which includes these elements:

• Authentic leaders demonstrate your values through your actions, not just talking about your values. Remember, “It’s what you do, not what you say.”
• Authentic leaders allow yourselves to show vulnerabilities. It’s ok if you’re stressed out or need help. You don’t always have the answers.
• Authentic leaders have a growth mindset. You’re always learning & growing. You don’t believe you know everything.
• Authentic leaders listen more than talk.
• Authentic leaders understand the need to take of yourselves so you can be the best leader you can instead of lettings burn you out and take it out on your staff
