Before his death, Steve Jobs gave what many believe to be one of the most important and significant graduation speeches ever at Stanford University. In it, he reminded young students about the need to not only be driven and passionate, but also the need to live and to experience life.
In our drive to lead and be successful in career, we sometimes forget this. We focus so much on achieving and winning and ascending that we forget to sit back and enjoy the life we have right in front of us.
On this day, for no specific reason or another, remember to live. Yes, it is important to be a capable leader and an innovator in business and leadership. Our entire blog is about that. But at the same time, it’s also important to live.
So we encourage you, take a moment to listen to this seminal address and remember that living is just as important as achieving.
