Have you considered the message of your company, and then looked at the package that goes along with it?
What are we talking about here? Message and presentation are intrinsically tied together in the minds of investors and retailers. You may have the greatest message possible, but if it comes in a shoddy or difficult package to deal with, chances are you will miss out on those investors.
This means then, that because you are the central point of the message as the leader and CEO of your company, that you must watch over that package presentation. You need to be aware of your dress, your form, your appearance and your style.
Yes, these are concerns that you may not want to be concerned about. Ultimately speaking, these are also things that you may not value a whole lot.
But do you know who values them? The people who are assessing your company and your platform. So though you may not value these things, you need to know how these things work together in the midst of your business overall.
So take a look, take a long look in the mirror, and ask yourself what sort of message you are giving to those outside. Is it consistent with the one that you speak and represent?
