It’s looking more and more like business travel won’t be reaching pre-COVID levels anytime soon.
Company executives may have noticed that all those expenses associated with business travle in the past may just not be justified anymore.
Business travel isn’t going to be going away completely, after all, meeting a big client face-to-face every once in a while or in-person implementations are still going to be around.
But companies are probably noticing that paying for business class airfare, hotel accommodation, meals, etc just for a brief meeting may not be the best use of resources after all.
And those of us who find business travel tedious and physically taxing may welcome the increased acceptance of virtual meetings.
The question to ask is: “Can you achieve the desired results from an online meeting?”
Do you see your company reducing business travel in the future?
