Entrepreneurs and workers in general are too tied to sending, receiving, and answering emails. Generally, we are obsessed with how many emails are in our inbox. Specifically we are obsessed with how many emails we have not responded to in an arbitrarily “fast” time frame. We can alleviate some of the need to answer immediately by:
1: Not apologizing for not being fast. By now everyone knows that if you need an immediate response, email is not the way to go.
2: Acknowledging receipt of messages that may be time sensitive with a brief response message in return.
