A leadership advice guru recommends that you should say “no” ten times as often as you say “yes”. He says that it’s simple opportunity cost, you need to carefully evaluate how you spend your time. The more time you put towards doing something, the less time you may have to put towards something more beneficial. He recommends that, as a leader, you identify your top two to three priorities for the day. Then, once you are sure these are your priorities, you should not spend time doing anything that doesn’t work towards accomplishing them.
