Leadership is about knowing people. We gather people around us in business who are like minded and who share our common value system. We are drawn to people like this, and they are drawn to us as well.
Being able to lead these people is an act of communication. Simply telling them what to do and expecting it to be done is not leadership. That’s a totalitarian model.
